GEORGE, Roger A. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG — Roger A. George, 43, Veedersburg, died at 1:33 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001 in St. Clare's Medical Center, Crawfordsville. He was born Dec. 15, 1957 in Danville, Ill., the son of Wilbur and Mary Maxine Keeling George. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a 1976 graduate of Fountain Central High School. He worked for Master Guard for the past five years. Survivors include: three sisters, Barbara Joan (Cecil) Smith, Hillsboro, Sandy Mattingly, Wingate and Doralee (Robert) Graham, Hillsboro; a brother, Jerry George, Dana; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny. Gravesite services were at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Bonebrake Cemetery with the Rev. Greg McDonald officiating. Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. Preferred donations to the American Kidney Foundation. – jlr
