George, Laura M. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Mrs. Laura M. George 77, 1104 S. Brady, former cook at Radio Materials Corp died at 2 p.m .Wednesday in Community Hospital, Williamsport.  She had been ill five years and had been in Woodland Manor Nursing Home. Born in Covington, Mrs. George lived for a time in Danville, Ill moving to Attica in 1942. She attended Covington schools,. In 1943 she married Peter George who died in 1975.  Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. John (Kathryn) Grime of Marion; Mrs William (Maxine) Perigo, Mrs. Lloyd (Jerry Dunbar and Mrs. Sherry Rae Powers, all of rural Attica and Mrs. Martha Ann McShonge of Danville; four sons, William Johnson of Jonesboro; Harley Johnson of Grant Ledge, Mich; Tom Johnson of Attica and James Miller of Danville. Also surviving are her father, who is 102 years of age living at Woodland Manor Nursing Home and a sister, Mrs. Frances Hannon of Attica. - kz
