Nicholas G. Geiger aged 81 a retired farmer died Tuesday morning at his home in Covington, following a paralytic stroke. A life-resident of the Covington community, he was born March 17, 1863 in Covington son of Nicholas and Mary Aubert Geiger. He was married to Mary Slattery who survives with two sisters, Roy of Covington and Mrs. Lloyd Brown of Danville, Ill. The funeral was held at the Shelby Funeral Home in Covington at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. - kbz
