Ilah V Gegner, 79, of 309 W. Market St, died at 7:58 p.m. Saturday in Culver Union Hospital. She was a proofreader for RR Donnelley & Sons for 41 years, before reiting in 1969.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Business & Professional Women. She attended Waynetown and Hillsboro schools and and graduate from Hillsboro in 1927. She was born Oct 22, 1909 to Charles and Elizabeth Ball Gegner near Waynetown.

Surviving are a brother, Robert of Crawfordsville; and four sisters, Edith Ford and Charlotte Hudson both of Crawfordsville, Vera Shade of Hilsboro and Mary Probst of Plymouth.  Two brothers, Byron and Harold are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Norris A. Keirn officiatnig. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. - kbz
