GEE, Golda Richardson

Mrs. Golda G. Gee of State Line, age 67, died Tuesday morning, November 17, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born October 17, 1914, the daughter of Lazarus A. and Julia Compton Richardson. January 7, 1935, she married Harley Gee, who survives. A member of State Line Church of the Nazarene, she was a graduate of West Lebanon High School.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty Cope of State Line; two sisters, Edna McKinney of Lafayette and Iva Bailey of Delaware, Ohio; a brother, Clyde Richardson of Fairfield, California; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. James Kesler officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Karen Gee and Mrs. Mary Katheryn Gremore, both of Covington, Mrs. Doris Hipsher of Veedersburg and Mrs. Maxine Beevers of Danville, Illinois; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga with Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
