Theodore John Geckler, 77 passed away on Saturday August 12, 1950 in Tangier. He had been ill the past sox months. Mr. Be4ckler was born in Patricksburg, Indiana on Oct 27, 1872 the son of Michael and Mary Schmaltz Geckler. He was a retired miner and member of the Moose Lodge at Danville, Ill. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Opal Thompson and one son, Bazil, both of Georgetown, Illinois; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body was removed from the Woodrow Funeral Home on Sunday and taken to the Houghton Funeral Home, Georgetown, Illinois where services were conducted on Monday Aug 14 at 2:30 p.m., Rev.
