Attica, Ind., July 13 - Maurice Gebhardt, 19, captain-elect of the Pine Village High school basketball team, was killed by a bolt of lightening yesterday while standing in the doorway of a barn on his father's farm near here.

Attica, July 12 - Maurice Gebhart, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Gebhart, tenants on the Mary Little farm east of Pine Village, was killed today by lightening while standing in a doorway of a barn on the farm in a severe electrical storm. No other damage was done. Young Gebhart had just completed milking several cows and was waiting for the rain to cease. Gebhart was elected captain of the Pine Village high school basketball team at the close of the school term this year. Besides his parents he is survived by four brothers and a sister. - -
