GEBHART, Herbert - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) — Services were at the First Christian Church in Cedar Key, Fla. for E. Herbert Gebhart, 68, of Cedar Key, formerly of Attica, who died June 6, 1975 at Gainsville Hospital in Gainsville, Fla. He had been ill since December. Burial was in Cedar Key Cemetery. Mr. Gebhart was born Oct. 29, 1907, in Hillsboro, the son of Edgar L. and Estella Herbert Gebhart. In October of 1935 he married Dorothy Poole, who died in April of 1970. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High and was a welder at Harrison Steel in Attica until retiring in 1964. Survivors include two sons, Herbert L. of Danville, Ill. and William of Buchanan, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Sharlyn Apple of Gainsville; three sisters, Mrs. John Steiger of Frankfort, Mrs. James Daugherty of Hoopeston, Ill. and Mrs. Carolyn Cornelison of Winter Haven, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.  -- typed by Walt W
