Hillsboro — Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, March 3, at the Crumley Funeral Home for Edgar Gebhart, age 91, a native of Hillsboro and resident for many years, who died Thursday night, Feb. 28, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Daugherty, in Hoopeston, Ill. The Rev. Charles Sites officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Gebhart was born Nov. 16, 1871, in Hillsboro a son of Phillip and Elizabeth Nine Gebhart. He was married to Stella Herbert who preceded him in death. Mr. Gebhart was a mechanic by trade. He was a member of the Hillsboro Knights of Pythias Lodge. Survivors include two other daughters besides, Mrs. Daughterty, Mrs. Ruth Steiger, Frankfort, and Mrs. Carrie Corneilson, Westerville, Ohio; a son, Herbert, Attica, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  --typed by Walt W
