Attica – Herman “Bud” Gaskill, II, 45, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in his home at 1302 N. Perry St. Born in Williamsport Nov 25, 1944 he graduated from Seeger HS. He had spent most of his life in the Attica area and formerly lived in West Lebanon. He married Edna M. Rice June 25, 1978. She survives.  Mr. Gaskill was a custodian at IGA in Attica.  A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army.  He was a member of American Legion Post 259, Williamsport; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3318, Attica and Eagles Lodge 2596 in Attica. Also surviving are three daughters, Amber Gaskill of Attica; Crystal Tyra of Lafayette and Regina Hale of Falls Mills, VA; a son, James Gaskill of Attica; his mother and stepfather, France and Robert Jordan of Rt 2, Williamsport and a sister, Mrs. Lee (Nancy) Hetrick of Rt 2, Williamsport.

Gaskill, Herman II – Visitation at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. Service in Maus Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday the Rev. James Morris officiating. Interment West Lebanon Cemetery with military rites by VFW Post 3318, Attica. Surviving are two granddaughters, Jessica and Samantha Hale. Preceded in death by his father, 1 brother, 1 sister. – kbz
