Mrs. Ida A. Garrigus, 95, died Saturday, (April 4, 1970) in the Alward Nursing Home at Attica. She was born Aug. 7, 1874. She married James C. Garrigus who preceded her in death in March, 1945. Surviving are three sons, John of Pennsylvania, George of California and Robert of Veedersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Cox, of the Alward Nursing Home and Mrs. Anna Fortune of Kenney, Ill.; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Veedersburg Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter. Services were conducted Tuesday by Rev. Omar Walters and burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
