Funeral services for Col. James R. Garner, husband of the former Virginia Boord of Covington, who died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, at his home in San Antonio, Tex., were held there last Friday. Burial also was in San Antonio. Col. Garner, whose home was at 502 Robin Hood, San Antonio, was in his early 50's. He was a retired U. S. Army dentist. Miss Martha Blossom Boord and the late Mrs. Pearle Myers of Danville, Ill., formerly of Covington, are Mrs. Garner's aunts. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son and one daughter. --typed by Walt W
