Friends, in Mellott, have received word of the death of William F. Gardner, of Redondo Beach, Calif., after a lingering illness. Mr. Gardner, age 52 years, was a resident of this community when he was a young boy, making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Don Clark and attending the school here. The deceased's father was the late Fred Gardner who was raised in Mellott. -- typed by Walt W
