Friends have received word of the sudden death of Paul Gardner, June 16, with a heart attack while watching TV in his home. He had been in ill health and was recently discharged from the hospital where he had spent several weeks. He was the son of Fred Gardner and had visited many times in the Mellott community, visiting his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Gardner. He is survived by his widow, three sons and one daughter. Mr. Gardner was a former deputy sheriff. --typed by Walt W
