HOOPESTON (CNS) — Mrs. Dora Estella Gardner, 68, of Frankfort, Ind., died at 8:20 p.m. Thursday (May 24, 1973) in Frankfort. She had been ill since December. She was born in Hoopeston on April 11, 1905, the daughter of Alva Allen and Mary Myers Zane Mead. She was first married to John Patrick McGrath in 1926. In 1936 she married William Gardner, who died in 1946. She was a former resident of Covington, Ind. and a member of Covington Christian Church. She was a member of the Frankfort Moose Lodge auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, John Patrick McGrath of New Orleans, La., and Alva Zane McGrath of Chester, Va., a sister, Mrs. Mabel Amon of Milroy, Ind., a brother, Alva F. Mead, of Covington, Route 3, and six grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ellen Funeral Home in Frankfort. Graveside rites will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
