GAMBRIL, Gene - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gene Gambril, 51, a native of the Cayuga Community, died unexpectedly at 1 a.m. yesterday ( Oct 14, 1966) at his home in Highland. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was born July 19, 1915, at Cayuga, the son of Ross and Jessie Coleman Gambril. He was a graduate of Indiana University and served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include the widow, Ruth; two children , Gene Ross Gambril and John Bradley Gambril; a brother, Marvin of Highland; an aunt, Mrs. Blanche Rhodes of Covington Route 1 and several other relatives. The body is at the Fagen Funeral Home in Highland and services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery there.
