Mrs. Hannah Elizabeth Gamble, age 76, a life resident of Covington, died at 8:15 a. m. Friday, Oct. 12, at a hospital in Winter Haven, Fla., where she had been a patient seven weeks. In ill health for several years, Mrs. Gamble had lived in the Covington Community her entire life until moving to Florida in 1955. Born Oct. 25, 1885 at Covington, she was the daughter of Phillip and Alora Sharon Hunt. She was married to Allen Eugene Gamble Dec. 1, 1915, and he preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1959. Mrs. Gamble was a member of the Covington Methodist Church and the WSCS. Survivors include a brother, Lew Hunt of Detroit, Mich. The body was returned to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, where services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday. The Rev. Don Wade officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Donald Hunt, Leonard Weidman, Francis Gamble, Max H. Layton, James Hastings and Russell Glick.  --typed by Walt W
