Covington – Wendell A. Galloway, age 69, died at his residence in Covington, Sat night from a heart attack. Mr. Galloway retired three years ago form his farm near Covington and had since resided in Covington. He was born Aug 7, 1875 in Shawnee Township, the son of Geroge Galloway and Kathleen Coffing Galloway. He was a member of the Forest Chapel Church. He was married to George Marquess. Three daughters survive, Mrs. Bernice Sipple, Clay City; Mrs. Willa Rose Hoagland, Evansville and Miss Charlene Galloway, Covington school teacher. A sister, Mrs. Ruth Remster of Indianapolis also survives. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon at the residence in charge of the Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery. -kbz
