GALLOWAY, Sara J. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for Miss Sara J. Galloway, age 78, a life resident of Shawnee Township, Fountain County, who died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hegg Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Charles Kraft of Mellott officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. Miss Galloway was born Nov. 27, 1886, in Shawnee Twp., the daughter of George A. and Laura Ward Galloway. She was a life resident of that township. She had been employed in the telephone office at Stone Bluff but had been ill six months. She had been hospitalized one month. Miss Galloway was a member of the Friendship Garden Club of Fountain county and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include; two brothers, C.P. Galloway of Covington Rt.3 and Nelson Galloway, of Covington, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.  -- thanks to Beth R for typing :)
