VEEDERSBURG — Robert Jack Galloway, 69, Veedersburg, died at 8 a.m. Thursday in Lake View Hospital at Danville, Ill. He had been in failing health the past year. A lifelong resident of Veedersburg, he was born June 14, 1898, one of nine children born to John and India Ward Galloway. He was married to Pearl McManomy, who survives. Mr. Galloway farmed and was a salesman. He also was a musician. Survivors in addition to the widow are two brothers, O.K. Galloway of Crawfordsville and A.T. Galloway of Newtown; and a sister, Mrs. Barka Meeker of Lafayette. Funeral services are pending at the Sever Mortuary here.  --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) — Services for Robert Jack Galloway, 69, a life resident of the Veedersburg area who died Thursday in Lake View Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Sever Mortuary. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate and burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday= typed by Walt W.

Veedersburg – Robert Jack Galloway, age 69 of Veedersburg died at 8 a.m. Thursday Dec 14 in Lake View Hospital in Danville, Ill.  He had been in failing health the past year.  A lifelong resident of Veedersburg, he was born June 14, 1898, one of the children born to John and India Ward Galloway.
