COVINGTON — Linda Kay Galloway, 55, rural Covington, died at 5:34 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2002 in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born Sept. 29, 1946 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Virgil L. (Bud) and Norma (Orahood) Warrick. She married George H. Galloway Aug. 18, 1967 in Covington. He survives. She was a life resident of Covington. She graduated from Covington High School in 1964. She attended Sterling Christian Church. She formerly worked at Homestretch restaurant in Attica. She served as Rowdy Ramblers 4-H leader for eight years. She enjoyed the outdoors, sports, being with friends and family, especially her sons and grandsons. Survivors, besides the husband, include: three sons, Damon (Angie) Galloway, Attica, Eric Galloway, Covington and Brandon Galloway, Attica; her mother, Norma Warrick, Covington; two sisters, Karen (Jack) High, Union, Miss and Nancy (Bryan) Houmes, Veedersburg; and three grandsons, Hunter, Bryce and Dane. She was preceded in death by her father, and an infant sister. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Burial was in Osborn Prairie Cemetery Memorials may be given to Fountain County 4-H Foundation, 301 Fourth St., Covington, Ind. 47932, with envelopes available at the funeral home. – jlr
