Covington – Mrs. Georgia Galloway, 65, died at her home at 3:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon after an illness of 8 days. She lived on north Sixth street. Mrs. Galloway was born March 12, 1878 at Portland. She was the daughter of George and Eliza Marquess. She married Wendell Galloway Sept 6, 1899l. They have lived in Covington for the past 41 years. Survivors are her husband, three daughters, Charleen at home; Mrs. Bernice Sipple, of Clay City; Mrs. Willa Hoagland, Evansville; one brother, Glenn Marquess, Attica; one grandson, John Hoagland and several nieces and nephews. Shew as a member of the Salem Ladies Aid Society. Funeral services will be announced soon. - kbz
