COVINGTON — April Joy Gagliardi,
22, Covington, died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2003 in St. Vincent
Williamsport Hospital. She was born April 13, 1981 in Anaheim, Calif., the
daughter of Janice Funk. She was a member of the Church of God in Veedersburg.
She enjoyed attending church, volunteering at the nursing home and helping
elderly people. She loved collecting beanie babies and Dale Earnhart souvenirs.
Survivors include: her mother of Covington; two brothers, John (Mattie) Gray,
Arkansas and Robert Boggs, Covington; a sister, Jaclyn (Roger) Coonse,
Williamsport and two nephews, Dillon and Bryce Coonse. Funeral services were at
2 p.m. Saturday in the Veedersburg Church of God with Pastor Travis Girdler
officiating. Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery, Veedersburg. Dickerson
Funeral Home, Veedersburg, was in charge of arrangements. – jlr
