FRAZIER, George William Jr - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

An 18 year old youth was killed at about 7 p.m. Saturday, June 17 when the car he was in struck two trees and rolled down an embankment on the Kingman blacktop about one mile north of Ind. 234.

  George William Frazier Jr., died in internal injuries and a possible broken neck, according to state police.

  Investigation was conducted by state police and Fountain County Coroner Robert DeVerter. According to police reports, the vehicle was apparently headed north on the Kingman blacktop when it left the west side of the road. The car landed on its top in the creek.

  In an initial investigation by the Kingman town marshal, it was not apparent anyone was in the car, the report said. The dead youth was found under the car when it was pulled out of the creek by a wrecker.

  Frazier, of Rt. 1, Oakwood, Ill., was born July 5, 1959, the son of George William Frazier Sr., and Nancy Sullivan Frazier. He attended Lincoln Grade School and Danville High Schol. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Danville, Ill. His hobby was fishing. He worked in the shipping department of Continental Filing Co.

  He is survived by his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. George William Frazier Sr., Rt. 2, Covington and his mother Nancy Sullivan Frazier of Redman, Wash.; one brother, Larry Michael Frazier of Redman, Wash.; two stepbrothers, Perry Wolfe of Panama City, Fla., and Eugene Wolfe of Rt. 2, Covington; one sister, Colleen Frazier of Redman, Wash., and one step sister Virginia Tresslar of Danville, Ill. -s
