FOSTER, William P.

William Paul Foster of Attica, age 71, died early Friday, October 9, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born at West Lebanon, July 6, 1910, the son of William Richard and Pearl Doty Foster. July 2, 1937, he married Celia Elizabeth Harris, who survives.

  Foster was a member of Attica United Methodist Church, Veedersburg Amateur Ham Radio Club, Williamsport American Legion Post and was past master of Wabash Masonic Lodge. He worked as a printer at Harrison Steel Casting Company for 20 years before retiring in 1975 and also operated a print shop at his home. He was a graduate of West Lebanon High School and served with the Army during World War II.

  Also surviving are three sons, Tom of Williamsport, John of Attica and Richard of Mooresville; a sister, Mrs. May Duck of Rossville, Illinois; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica. – s
