FIELDS, Harold - WWII

Harold D. Fields of Oklahoma City, formerly of Covington, age 62, died Saturday morning, January 24, at his home. He was born in Troy Township, Fountain County, May 23, 1918, the son of Clyde E. and Virgie E. Death Fields. In March of 1946, he married Mary Lou Callarman, who survives.

  Fields was president of Harmon Construction Company in Oklahoma City, where he had worked for 25 year. He was a 1937 graduate of Covington High School and a graduate of Utterback Brown Business College. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Lou Ann Fields of Oklahoma City; his mother of Covington Manor; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Young of Olympia, Washington; two brothers, John R. of RR 3, Covington, and Earl L. of Covington; and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Village United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City with Guardian Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in Oklahoma City. – thanks to S
