Mrs. Jane Marshall Ewbank, 79 died at 5:30 Thursday morning at the home of her son, Dewey Ewbank near Hillsboro. She had been making her home with her son since December. She was born April 25, 1874 at Waynesburg, Ky the daughter of Allen and Serelda Bryant Ewbank. She was married to Elzara Young who died in 1908 and was a member of the Freedom Church in Kentucky. Surviving are three sons, Dewey of Hillsboro; Curtis, Crawfordsville; Mitchell of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Maude Bowman, Pine Village and Mrs. Audrey Harvey of Attica; a brother, Henry of Indianapolis and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Griffin and Mrs. Susie Smiley both of Kentucky. The body will remain at Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro where services will be Saturday at 2 o’clock with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. – kbz
