EVANS, Velma - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Velma Evans of Danville, Illinois, age 76, died Saturday morning, November 7, at Lakeview Medical Center in Danville. Mrs. Evans was born in Alton, Missouri, November 21, 1904, the daughter of Arthur C. and Tennessee A. Johnson Sutton. June 25, 1960, she married Carl E. Evans, who survives. She was a member of Central Christian Church.

  Also surviving are a son, Charles E. of Haure, Montana; a sister, Mrs. Pearl L. Gritten of Covington; a brother, Burl Sutton of Urbana, Illinois; and a granddaughter.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville with Rev. Victor Parachin officiating. Entombment was in Sunset Memorial Park mausoleum at Danville. -s-
