COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Eva Etter, 77, of 515 Liberty St., Covington, died at 4:20 p.m. Monday (March 25, 1968) at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. Born June 11, 1890, in Indiana, she was the daughter of John and Emma Hamm Brown. She was married June 10, 1935, to Fred V. Etter, who died Dec. 12, 1945. She was a resident of Covington since 1935 and was formerly of Mellott. Survivors include a sister, Deadie Hancock of San Marino, Calif., four nieces, and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bodine-Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. The Rev. P. J. Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening. --typed by Walt W

COVINGTON - Mrs. Eva Etter, age 77, of 515 Liberty St., Covington, died at 4:20 p.m. Monday, March 25, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been admitted earlier in the day. Mrs. Etter was born June 11, 1890 in Indiana, the daughter of John and Emma Hamm Brown. She was married to Fred V. Etter June 10, 1935 and he preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1945. She had been a resident of Covington since 1935 and prior to that had resided in Mellott. Surviving are: one sister, Mrs. Eadie Hancock of San Marino, Calif.; four nieces, Mrs. Beulah Janzen of San Marino, Mrs. Margaret Broshar of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Mary Oliver and Mrs. LaVera Lowe, both of Veedersburg; and one nephew, Donald R. Brown, residency unknown. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Etter was preceded in death by four brothers. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home where friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. P. J. Hamilton, pastor of the Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. – kbz
