Mrs. America J. Esra, widow of the late Benton Esra, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben McCormick, 712 Milligan Street, Wednesday evening about 7 o'clock. Funeral services will be held from the home at 2:30
Friday afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. B.E. Antrobus. Interment will be made in Oak Hill.
Mrs. Esra was born July 25, 1851, in Fountain County and had lived in this city several years. Mr. Esra preceded her in death some time ago. Besides the daughter, Mrs. McCormick, she is survived by three sons,
Bert, Lon and Frank Esra. Mrs. Esra was a member of the Lutheran Church at Wallace for 40 years.
Mrs. Esra's death came after an illness of six months although she had been seriously ill only a week. Last Sunday she was up town and visited her son Bert. She leaves a wide circle of friends who will mourn her
