Wallace—Marie F. Erwin, 83, 3535 N. Vermilion, Danville, Ill., died at 8 *.m. Monday, March 27, 1989, at 102 Main St., Wallace, at the home of her daughter.

  She was born Oct. 19, 1925 in Yankee Branch, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Opal Collom Sewell. She was married April 6, 1946 to Malcolm L. Erwin, who preceded her in death in 1979.

  She retired in 1987 as a director assistant operator for the General Telephone Company in Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Maryland Community Church in Terre Haute.    Surviving are her daughter, Lois Beckelhymer, Wallace; a son, Tom, Route 2, Veedersburg; three grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Burwash, Danville; Virginia Crumley, Carmel, and Dorothy Green, Indianapolis. She was also preceded in death by a sister.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Gerald Denney officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. – thanks to S
