ERVIN, Nixola - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nixola J. Ervin of Georgetown, Illinois, age 72, died Sunday morning, September 20, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Cates, December 19, 1908, the daughter of Robert and Bessie Floral Milot. July 2, 1932, she married Harry Ervin, who survives.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Thompson and Mrs. Lorraine Lowe, both of Georgetown; two sisters, Belinda Kelch of Gessie and Lestina Johnson of Danville, Illinois; two brothers, Willard Cates of Covington and Millard Cates of Veedersburg; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Urbas Funeral Home in Westville, Illinois, with Rev. Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Parrish Cemetery at Grape Creek, Illinois. – s –
