HILLSBORO - Nora E. Epperson, 88, Covington, died Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. She had been in failing health several years. Mrs. Epperson was a Hillsboro resident for 60 years and was a member of Royal Neighbors of America. She was educated in Maroa, Ill., schools. Born Aug. 5, 1884, at Maroa, she was a daughter of Mark and Saphoronia Covey Tozar. Her husband, Ed Epperson, died in Sept. 13, 1936. She was also preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here, with Rev. Bud Stidham officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - jlr
