EPPERSON, Gertrude Blue - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro - Mrs. Gertrude Blue Epperson, 91, of Rt 3, Veedersburg died Sunday morning in Camel Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. She was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church and Missionary Society. She attended Salem neighborhood and Covington schools. Born Jan 27, 1882 at Salem, near Covington, she was a daughter of William C. and Anna Cronk Blue. She married Wallace Epperson Feb 25, 1903. He died in 1961. Survivors include a son, Carl and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Epperson, both of Veedersburg. She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, a sister and four half brothers. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with Rev. Jerome McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m.
