ELLMORE, Sarah Johnson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Sarah M. Ellmore of LaPuente, California, formerly of Covington, age 75, died Monday morning, November 2, in Queen of Valley Hospital in West Covina, California. She was born in Vermillion County, Illinois, April 1, 1906, the daughter of Joseph and Ellen Johnson. February 4, 1925, she married Paul Ellmore, who died September 25, 1973. Mrs. Ellmore was a member of Baldwin Park Church of Christ in Baldwin Park, California.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Forth of West Covina; a son, Russell of Hacienda Heights, California; a brother, Willie Johnson of Danville, Illinois; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

  Graveside rites and burial were Saturday afternoon in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington with Paul Kent officiating. Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
