Mark L. Ellmore, 56, a life resident of Covington and a rural mail carrier the past 32 years died at his home at 902 Liberty Street at 7:40 p.m. Monday. He had been in ill health two months but death was unexpected. He was born in Covington on Dec 28, 1899 the son of Bert and Effie Robb Ellmore. He was married on April 15, 19921 to Beulah Waggoner, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Brenton of Indianapolis; two sons, Mark Alfred and Gene A, both of Covington; a brother, Heber of Covington; a sister, Miss Mary Ellmore of Covington and five grandchildren. He was a member of the 7th St. Church of Christ. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the 7th St. Church of Christ with Victor McCormick officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
