COVINGTON – Beulah S. Ellmore, 84, of 902 Liberty St., Covington, died Tuesday at Covington Manor Health Center, where she had been in failing health for the past three years. She was a member of the Seventh Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Ellmore was born Aug. 15, 1894, in Bartholomew County, a daughter of Fred and Sarah Garlock Waggoner. She married Mark J. Ellmore on April 15, 1920, at Covington. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1956. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Dorothy) Brenton of Indianapolis; two sons, Mark Alfred Ellmore of Covington and Gene A. Ellmore of Downey, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in DeVerter Funeral Home at Covington. Donald Pharis will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. – jlr

Beulah S. Ellmore, 84, of 902 Liberty St., Covington, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 1979 at the Covington Manor Health Center where she had been in failing health and a patient the past three years. She was born August 15, 1894 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Fred and Sarah Garlock Waggoner.
She was married April 15, 1920 at Covington to Mark J. Ellmore who preceded in death on November 12, 1956.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Dorothy) Brenton of Indianapolis; two sons, Mark Alfred Ellmore of Covington and Gene A. Ellmore of Downy, Calif.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded by four sisters.
