Ora Ellis, former resident of the Veedersburg community died on Thursday, Dec 4 at Battle Creek, Michigan. He was born in Sterling on Dec 5, 1876, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. IN Ellis. He was employed at the Wabash Clay factory and later moved to Attica and then to Battle Creek. Surviving is the wife, Katie Welch Ellis, formerly of Covington; two daughters, Helen at home and Mrs. Margaret Bolinger; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Harper of Veedersburg and a niece, Mrs. June Holes also of Veedersburg. Funeral services and burial were in Battlecreek. - kbz
