Mrs. Inez Cadle
Ellis, 80, 601 East Jackson Street, Attica, died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday,
December 22, at Community Hospital in Williamsport.
Born November 17,
1901 in Danville, Illinois she was the daughter of Martin V. and Elizabeth
Traylor Cadle. She was married in 1918 to William C. Brown in
Danville. He died in 1977.
She had resided
in Danville and Cleveland before moving to Attica three years ago. She had been
a cook at various hotels in Cleveland.
Survivors include
a daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Straub of Attica; a son, William A. Brown of Chicago;
a sister, Mrs. Sarah Devore of San Diego, California; a brother, Martin H.
Cadle Jr. of Danville; four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A
grandson preceded her in death.
Services were
Sunday at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport with Rev. Don Williams
officiating. Burial was in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Catlin, Illinois. -s-
