Mrs. Freda Jane ELLIS, 74 of Veedersburg Rt 1, died at 11:30 p.m. Tues Dec 27, 1977 at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. Born in Mill Creek Township, Fountain County March 17, 1903 she was the daughter of John and Pearl Redenbaugh Hershberger. She was married Oct 1, 1922 to Verlin Ellis, who survives. She was a member of Prarire Chapel Christian Church, Paririe Chapel Ladies Aid, North Mill Creek Home Extention Club and Fountain County Garden Club. Surv include two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Drollinger of Waynetown Rt 1 and Mrs. Rosemarie Sutherlin of Veedersburg Rt 1; two sons, Durward and Jaems Both of Kingman Rt 1, five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Chalmers, Mrs. Tryphos Gagen, Mrs. Ruby Ryan and Mrs. Retha Feathersone, all of Indianapolis and Mrs. Iona Nale of Star City, Ind 3 brothers, Victor Hershberger of Indianapolis, John Hershberger of Worthgton and Eamer Hershberger of Yeddo; 1 grandchild and two greats. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be 2 p.m. EST Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman with Rev. Hubert Wilson officiating. Burial in Centennial Cem east of Yeddo. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 today at the funeral home.- kbz

  Born in Mill Creek Township, Fountain County, March 17, 1903, she was the daughter of John and Pearl Redenbaugh Hershberger. She was married October 1, 1922, to Verlin Ellis, who survives.
  She was a member of Prairie Chapel Christian Church, Prairie Chapel Ladies Aid, North Mill Creek Home Extension Club and Fountain County Garden Club.
  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Drollinger of Waynetown Route 1 and Mrs. Rosemarie Sutherlin of Veedersburg Route 1; two sons, Durward and James, both of Kingman Route 1; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Chalmers, Mrs. Tryphoss Gagen, Mrs. Ruby Ryan and Mrs. Retha Featherstone, all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Iona Nale of Star City, Ind.; three brothers, Victor Hershberger of Indianapolis, John Hershberger of Worthington and Eamer Hershberger of Yeddo; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
