Faye A. Ellis of Perrysville, age 86, died Monday evening, January 18, in Covington Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Stringtown, February 28, 1895, and was reared by her grandmother, Hannah Crowder. February 14, 1917, she married Arthur R. Ellis, who died March 7, 1965. Mrs. Ellis was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Danville, Illinois, where she taught the women’s Sunday school class for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Madaline Wilson of RR 2, Kingman; two sons, Riley Dale and James E., both of Perrysville; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery in Highland Township. – thanks so much to “S”
