Veedersburg- Russell L. Elliott, 61, died at 12:40 a.m. Monday at the Carle Clinic in Urbana, Ill. He had been a patient there for 10 days and had undergone surgery. Born June 1, 1900, at State Line, Ind., he was the son of William and Laura Welch Elliott. He was married in 1924 to Pearl Stawser. Mr. Elliott had been employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. plant in Attica as a pattern maker. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Covington and of the State Line Methodist church. The survivors include the wife; a son, William Elliott of Covington; a sister, Mrs. Margie Keller of Decatur, Ill., and two brothers, James Elliott of Attica and George Elliott of Boynton Beach, Fla. Funeral services will be held at the Fishero Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. William Moon in charge. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington.
