WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) — Lloyd Ellingwood, 70, of Waynetown Route 1, died Thursday (Jan. 27, 1972) after suffering a fatal heart attack at a Crawfordsville business establishment. He was born July 25, 1901 in Vermilion County, Ill. to Harry E. and Edna Potter Ellingwood. On Feb. 26, 1930 he married Minnie Phillips. He was a member of the Pleasant View United Brethren Church in Bismarck, Ill. They moved to Indiana from Illinois in 1920. He was a farmer and also did carpenter work. He is survived by his mother of Alamo; his wife of Crawfordsville Route 6; two sons, Bob of Alamo and Lloyd A. of Wingate; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Carroll of Wingate, Mrs. Tom (Irene) Hedrick of near New Market, Mrs. Clyde (Reta) Jones of Crawfordsville Route 7 and Miss Barbara Sue Ellingwood at home; two brothers, Eugene of Wallace and Donald of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Henrietta Hudson of Darlington; and 19 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Monday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. John Servies and the Rev. Rob James assisting. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
