Jesse Mildon Eller, 76, of Attica Route 4, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 1969) in the Community Hospital at Williamsport where he had been a patient four weeks. He had been in ill health a year and a half. Born Oct. 17, 1892, in Pulasky County, Ky., he was a son of William and Cordelia Meece Eller. He had lived in Warren and Benton Counties before moving to Attica in 1939. He had been employed as a carpenter at the Harrison Steel Casting Co. and was formerly a farmer and painter. He was married Sept. 22, 1915, in Benton County to Myrtle Pratt who preceded him in death in 1939. Surviving are five sons, Marvin and Lee of Attica, Gene of Mellott, Jesse Jr. stationed in Vietnam and Larry of Otterbein, and seven daughters, Mrs. Walter (Frances) Seymour of Mellott, Mrs. Richard (Kathryn) Everett of Terre Haute, Mrs. Rudy (Sue) Deverey of South Port, Miss Lynn Eller of Kokomo and Miss Bonnie Eller of Otterbein. Also, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wood of Urbana, Ill.; a brother, James Eller in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Eller was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and a grandson. Services Tuesday at the DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica. The Rev. Harry C. Randolph officiated. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery. --waw
