Attica – Otis L. Edwards, 57 of 106 W. Washington St died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday in Bowles Nursing Home, Clarks Hill where he had been a patient one week. He had been ill the past year. Mr. Edwards farmed before going to work for Harrison Steel Casting Co where he was a crane operator 25 years. Born near Veedersburg, he was married in 1944 in Attica to Betty Hann, who survives. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Attica. Surviving with the widow are a son, Raymond of Newark, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Ault of Attica; a brother, Charles Edwards of Lafayette; and three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Stine of Rt 4, Lafayette; Mrs. Jessie Balinsiefer, also of Lafayette and Mrs. Ada Hoffman of Dayton, Ohio.

Attica – Otis L. Edwards, age 57 of Attica died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday Nov 9 at the Bowles Nursing Home in Clarks Hill. He had been a patient there since last Monday and had been ill for the past year. Mr. Edwards was born Feb 6, 1912 in Veedersburg the son of James Monroe and Mary Ann Bever Edwards. He was married Sept 23, 1944 in Attica to Betty Hann who survives. He had resided most of his life in Attica and Fountain County. He had been a crane operator at Harrison Steel Castings for the past 25 years and had been a farmer. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Attica. Survivors include one son, Raymond of Newark, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Donna Ault of Attica; one brother, Charles of Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Stine of Lafayette Rt 4; Mrs. Jessie Bolensiefer of Lafayette and Mrs. Ada Hoffman of Dayton, Ohio and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at DeSutter Funeral Home, the Rev. Raymond Foraker officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. – kbz
