Hillsboro - Charles Martin Ebel, 78, died about 8 p.m. Sunday at his home here. He had been in failing health about two years. Born April 10, 1882, in Aurora, he was the son of John and Margaret Ritter Ebel. He was married June 14, 1903 in Aurora to Maud Smith. She died May 10, 1955.
Mr. Ebel lived most of his life in the Aurora vicinity. He moved to Hillsboro six years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Connersville. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Thelma Ebel at home; a sister, Mrs. Martin Detmar of Rising Sun; a half sister, Mrs. Harry Smith of Aurora and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crumley Funeral Home here with Rev. Ronald Carlson in charge. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may call at the funeral home - kbz
