Mellott, Ind. (CNS) - Virgil Dyson, 76, a former Mellott resident, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday (March 14, 1976) at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Ill. He had been a patient there three weeks. He was born May 26, 1899 in Mellott, the son of John W. and Prudie Wilson Dyson. His wife, Rena Dyson, survives. Mr. Dyson had been a member of the Mellott Untied Christian Church. A truck driver, he was employed by Pittman Trucking Co. of Hillsboro for 20 years. He resided in Peoria for the past 30 years. Survivors also include, a stepson, two step grandchildren; two brothers, Dalmer of Waynetown and Roscoe of Mellott; a sister, Mrs. Lola Van Note of Paragon; and several nieces and nephews.
