DWIGGINS, Sherman

Sherman Dwiggins, a prominent Fountain and Montgomery business man, died unexpectedly at Tuscon, Ariz. Sunday at 1:30 a.m. where he and Mrs. Dwiggins had gone from their Attica home on Nov. 11, to spend the winter months. Before retiring, he was manager of the Dwiggins plant near Hillsboro for a number of years.
He wag the son of Charles and Tudie Brant Dwiggins. His first marriage was to Dot Wilkinson, of Waynetown. Their married life was spent in Waynetown and Attica, she having died in Attica. He was later married to Mrs. Jessie Grady of Attica, a former Hillsboro resident, who survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Verner, of Newport and John of Leesburg; a step-daughter, Mrs. Edna Phelps, of Attica and a stepson, Joe Grady. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lt. Russell Dwiggins, who was killed in World War I.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Roember Funeral Home in Attica. - jz
