Preliminary results of an autopsy performed on Robert Duprey show that the state highway employee died as “results of the accident”, according to Fountain County Coroner, Robert DeVerter.
The autopsy was made after no apparent reason for the accident could be determined. Police could not see any indications of the truck sliding in the snow, although DeVerter said it was difficult because of the snow to tell whether or not Duprey tried to brake the truck.
Duprey, a resident of Veedersburg 10 years, formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings in Attica. He had worked for the highway department a year. =s
