Attica – Lillie Mae Estes Nunn, 89 of 112 David Drive died unexpectedly at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home. She had been in ill health one year. Mrs. Nunn worked as a loader at Radio Material Corp until retiring in the 1960s. She then did babysitting in her home. Born in Tazewell, Tenn April 17, 1899, she attended school in Tennessee. She had lived in Attica since 1954 and formerly lived in the Tab area. Her married was Sept 16, 1918 in Fowler to Benjamin Franklin Nunn. He died Oct 10, 1970. Mrs. Nunn attended Tab Christian Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Algine Clark of Attica, Mrs. James (Josephine) Hebbeler of Palm Harbor, Fla and Mrs. patricia DeArment of Lafayette; a son, Joseph “Pete” Nunn of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Mullins and Mrs. Mary Collingsworth and a brother, Julis Estes all of Tazewell.

Visitation 5-9 p.m. today, Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Service in Maus Chapel 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Michael Church officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Surviving, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, 5 sisters.
